I was fortunate enough to attend a lecture of his.  He’s really brilliant.  I remember that he mentioned the paintings of Balthus as a source of inspiration.  It makes perfect sense considering how superbly he uses window lighting.

About:

i'm a lapsed scientist living and working in new york

i like pictures

i also like to make pictures

but i really don't like self-promotion

its too easy to get caught up in the imagery and forget that it reflects someone's artistic vision. so i really try hard to find and credit the original artist/photographer in my posts. this way you can find and learn more about them, their work and their inspiration

the easiest way to contact me is through twitter. follow me or just mention @jessewright and i will reply
